Brian specializes in developing high-end, custom-tailored mental performance systems for professional athletes, teams, and coaches, as well as top-tier executives and business owners.
Brian’s superpower is helping clients quickly pinpoint the true source of stubborn problems, and building effective systems to address them.
He consults High-Performance Organizations, primarily working one-on-one with key leaders. He also facilitates a limited number of transformational workshops and other corporate events each year.
Performance Perspective From an Entrepreneur and Athlete
Brian doesn’t just coach elite-level performance; he lives it. He’s an entrepreneur who has owned multiple successful business enterprises, and an athlete who has won national championships in swimming – a sport he took up at the age of 30, in what originally began as an effort to overcome a lifelong phobia of having his face submerged in water. He has since medaled in a total of 60 USMS National Championship races, is a five-time State Champion, and holds 21 USMS Top-10 times (and counting!).
Professional Development With a Twist
Brian is a Certified Advanced Sommelier and holds a Level 3 Award in Wines with Distinction through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. He turns what has traditionally been the far-from-exhilarating subject of Professional Development on its head by weaving in wine tasting and education, replacing this once dreaded “required reading” with fun and engaging experiences.
Education Overview
Brian is a Performance Psychologist and Certified Mental Performance Coach. He earned his degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado, taking particular interest in neuroscience, psychopathology, clinical psychology, and sport psychology. He also has extensive training in transformational leadership, Strategic Intervention, and peak performance psychology through Robbins Research International.
